Who did you use to cut your neck?

Ordered my 23" wheel 4 months ago from Yaffe, the wheel finally showed up on Friday and now after being on this site I want the 26. I'm in Houston and I would like for the shop to have experiance. Who do you refer and give me their location.

I used to own some shit!
Most of our Vendors and Extreme Vendors have done them. I am not sure who you are closest too though.

I did my own, so have a few others recently. It's really not that hard. One thing I'll recommend is to get a neck from AF Kustoms, being tig welded makes it superior to the HHI neck in my opinion.

I'm looking for experiance guys only so when you respond to this give me a location and contact info, I'm in Texas. Looks like my bike and I will be loading up on a trailer for some long distance travel.

Since no one is responding I'm assuming just about everyone cut their own frame. Did anyone let John Shope chop their frame?

You could head down to South Florida. The guys who are doing my bike have done about 6 or 8 of them in the past year.

Dude is just cocky, thinks he's the king of baggers. Just give him 5 minutes of conversation and you'll see.

Was hoping to get a chance to talk with him at the Boston show about his 120r and procharger but just didnt get to it. He has built some nice bikes too badyou feel that way seeing how he's so close.

Not trying to down play anything but cutting off the neck and using the HHI kit is pretty damn easy. You dont really need anyone that knows how to work on motorcycles to do this particular mod to your bike. I'm sure you or whoever helped you with the bike in your sig can round up a guy who can weld and lets face it everyone knows a body man. Good Luck!

Yes it looks very easy base on the Motocyros video I saw on hawg halters. My problem is not knowing what to do next. I think I will start a new thread for stage steps for a 26 set up.

You may not like him but, he will get the job done right. You could have him do it and nothing else if you can't stand him I guess. It's hard to avoid him when he is close and one of the leaders in the industry.

toosons, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'd rather travel 800 miles to get the bike done, than drive around the block & give my money to a jerk (i'm not saying BC is like that cause I don't know them).
I can't knock you on that.
If someone rubs you the wrong way, it's hard to get past that. We have a lot of businesses like that here.
But, it looks like he does great work & nobody else is complaining..yet. lol
Good Luck to you!

I appreciate that Josh but I'm going with the tree only with drop springs for now. I'm going with a painted 23, order arlen's down and out bags, air ride in the back and a stretch tank then paint. After that i'll be tapped out for a while at least i'll be rolling and have something to due in the near future... go even bigger!!!!
