I bought my bike new in Sept 2009. Since then it has changed many times, and what started as a few parts to black out, turned into an entire black out. Last winter came the stretched tank shroud, a 106" kit, and new front and rear fenders. This winter the plan was to just tidy up a few things, but has now turned into a complete redo of all panels and new paint,.. again.
Here is day 1.

Here is what it looked like after last winter

And here is some of the progress so far this winter....

First to be modded was the dash

Then started on a seat pan

Then added sinister style side panels,.. note the saddlebags. Stock with HD extensions,.. that changes below

Into this,.. Note the seat pans design changed some. Rear fender is a bad dad, but I put in 78' Cadillac lens with Custom Dynamics Plasma Rods inside.

Stock levers I hacked up and drilled.

And the newest part to show up,.. Sinister Dirty Bastard shield.

Still to come, HD lowers (instead of hogg chopps) with J&M 7.25" rokkers to match the fairing speakers. I also have some molding and glassing to do on the rear fender and fairing yet. Also making my own custom floorboards, but haven't finished them yet.

Its by California baggers. They were selling stuff on ebay under the name Advancefab. $300 for the tank shroud and console, and the highest quality fiberglass I have seen.
I like the all black look. The flat black goes good with the gloss.

Only gloss that will be left this time around, are the forks and frame. Everything else is getting the flat treatment, and I still may paint the glass black forks flat to match. I like a little contrast, but my paint scheme this year will have enough I want it all flat.

Damn man! I need your money! Jk. Looks great, keep it coming!
Everyone says that, but believe it or not I have hardly any invested since I've done all the work myself and a lot of the parts I made from scratch. Everytime I buy fenders or parts, I usually sell the ones I took off and break even or make a profit :) Some of the parts were in trade or bartered for services rendered (paintjobs, parts trade, or graphic design). I have a ton of time invested, not much money :) Which is why Im still running stock wheels, can't afford fancy things like that. I'd like to bump up to a 21 or maybe a tad larger with a little rake in the trees, but that ain't gonna happen any time soon. I'll get a procharger before I get wheels.

Progress today - recieved my Dragula shields I modified back from the powder coater, along with my crash bar. So I installed them and going to go with HD lowers instead of hogg chopps now so I can run speakers in the lowers.

Built the bottom parts of my "coffin boards" floorboards. This part will be powdercoated flat black, then I will make a stainless part that will go on top

Only issue I had, was with my design. I originally made the end with a devil tail look, but it looked to much like a little penis when I was done. So I cut one side off and now Im happy :) Just took a while with a grinder, then fine tuning with a small angle grinder.

You make the seat pan?

Yes I did. Its had a few different variations when I was trying to decide how I wanted to do it.

seatpan10.jpg

Then to this,.. with foam ready to cover

seatpan13.jpg

Then I decided I wanted to go old school... but I sat to high.

Now back to foam, but going to run very little, and cover with leather.
