The best rear air ride for the bang?

Ok guys I'm getting ready to place a nice size order for my 2012 RG. I'm good on everything from bags, fenders, tank, trees and wheels. I just can't decide on my air ride. Please help me out with some advice. I plan on using a block in the rear along with the air (cause I like it low) but I don't want to feel every bump in the road. I'm 6'4 about 250 lbs, not often but sometimes the wife might jump on the back and just in case she decides to get on here one day I will not give her weight...lmao

Thanks
Rudy

I completely designed and installed my own. There is a link some where here that shows you how. The cost around 180$. It's not difficult.

I have over 7000 miles on it. Slams to the ground or when the fender hits the rear tire.

The do it yourself method uses a Viair compressor. Same as the name brand "Arnott" uses.

I used the arnott with the 13"shocks and a road 6 lowering block. I use the second hole since it sits on the fender aired down. The 13 inch kit gives you more lift also. By the way I'm 6'3"

There is a kit on hdforums right now. I think he wants $400.

I bought arnott because it was cheap and many people say they like it

The homemade version has more travel, lifetime warranty on the shocks, and the same compressor for a LOT less money. But hey if you wannna spend the coin Buy a Legends for $1600.

Also when the bike is all the way down is there a bump stop that can be used so you can still ride the bike home if you lose air. Btw my brother spent that 1600 on Legends and when I installed it he claimed he waisted his money because the bike didn't go low enough. I can't afford to spend 1600 on air ride right now any way so Legends is out. On some of the quotes I notice some guys speaking about 12" and 13" Arnott and something for 599 but which one?

Outlaw, I looked at your thread on the home made and notice your shocks were black but when I googled your description they were white.

When I bought my shocks I had the option of black or white(Monroes). When I slam mine I have about 1/8" clearance on the rear tire. First trip out I got to ride it home with no air!

What happen?
Dumb ass me was excited and in a hurry to try it out. When I crimped one of the spade terminals on at the relay I went too far and cut the terminal almost in two. Well about 45 miles from home I dumped it and then I had no compressor to air it back up. My relay is under the faring so it wasnt an easy roadside fix.
