Hey Folks,

Ready to install a set of custom 10" bars on my 2010 FLHX
Getting my ducks in a row before the arrive.
Need a little help with the following.

Whats the best T.B.W extensions to get, Going to shit can the plug. Let me know what brands and price, PLEASE!
Also if I am going 10" from stock how much over do I need to go on brake & clutch cable. And what cables to you guys suggest?

Josh you don't need the extension cables.. Cut and soldier desire length and shrink tube......
Plus it will be easier to pull wires then connectors thru bars.....
Make your self wire diagram for ur color codes.....

Ext wasn't needed for 10"monkey bar' just had to move connectors around

I put 10" monkey bars on my StreetGlide and didn't need the wire extensions. I swapped out the clutch cable for a chromite one from Yaffe, and it was the exact same length as the stock one.

Go with the cvo throttle by wire unit. The wires are plenty long enough and it eliminates the green clip on the stock unit. Some guys I know have had issues with the clip while passing it through the bars. Some can't get the wires to feed and others have issues with it coming apart a little bit causing a check engine light. The only way to fix the clip that is pulled apart is to take it out and start over. I think it is only like 80.00 and they normally have those in stock
