I am about to install a Sinister Tank/Dash kit on my 2010 flhtpi.
Any tips from those that have installed this product?
I have been told that if done wrong the overlay will pop off.

There is a video on YouTube of that Shope fella installing one himself. Looks pretty easy but yet he does skip all the time consuming parts. Search sinister industries tank kit.

Use a very good adhesive like this. It's expensive, but works incredible. You can use a regular caulking gun too.

If you haven't installed the tank kit yet you don't need to drill a hole. Leave an inch or two space on the underside that doesn't have glue. Drilling the hole is for tanks that are already done before the problem was known.

Audiowerks,
Are you talking about a 1-2" strip along the bottom, or just a spot about 1-2 inches on the bottom
