Questions on getting the rear lower to the ground.

Hello,
I have legends air ride on the rear of my 08 SG with Arlen Ness stretched bags and fender. I love the look when the back is slammed, I cannot get my bike that low. I recently ordered a 1" to 3" lowering kit for my bike to aide this. I tried to lower it 2" but it moved the shock back too far leaving me unable to put on my saddlebags. Do you guys have any suggestions that could help me get the stance I want?

Coolerman69,
Are these universal shocks? All I found were applications for cars. I cant seem to find any information on these shocks are they lower than most other applcations?

Very cool, I fund them on Amazon for $58 so that a good price. I wish I would have seen this before I spent 1500 on the Legends kit. HAHA

Lots of guys feel the same way. If you use this kit in combination with a lowering kit and a 17" low profile tire you can put a set of stretched bags on the ground while on the stand.
(On a 2012 sg)

Good to hear, that is the look I want. I have a 4" stretch on my Arlen ness fender but I am also thinking of going to a different fender and baggers. I need to keep my eye out for something with a longer stretch. I saw a picture of voodoo bags and they flow really nice.

I run a stock rear 16, with an Avon tire. 12" Arnott air ride with 1" lowering block with no rubbing

Rob 55,
I have a similar set up. I am running Legends air ride and I put a one inch lowering block on the back but it wasnt low enough. I want my bike to sit like 808Bagger's.
