Yes sir! Great to see some work being done and posted!

I agree with the social media. You can’t find anything and everyone has an opinion even if they don’t have any idea.

I am about to recut my neck and slap a 30†on mine. I can going to post everything and see if we can get some momentum on this site...

The parts are at paint. I should have them back by next weekend. I'm going to swap my 8's back to what I initially had, a simple mid range instead of a mid bass. I picked up a Rockford Fosgate digital sound processor to replace the manual version I have now. As of now I'm going to use the amp I was using for my 4" tweeters to power the extra set of 6.5". I have been told I can tap the tweeters into one of the sets of 6.5". I just can't grasp how this stereo stuff works with series/parallel/bridged etc. I'm a framing hammer person not a finishing hammer guy..... :11 (2):

My intentions for mounting the skid plate was to epoxy 3 bolts to the fender and bolt the skid plate to them.

Well that didn't go as planned. I ended up epoxying the bolts and plate to the fender. Same result just a different way of getting there.
Very nice job on the skid plate. You should make a few more of those you would have no problem selling them.

Yea I like the skid plate, nice concept. My tail dragger rear fender is rounded so a plate would not work so I took a piece of 3/8 plate and cut it the shape of the finder and shaped it to fit, then welded it to the inside of the fender to take the hit. Works great, better than banging out the fender all the time.
I like the saddlebag lids with all the holes, did you buy that or drill it yourself?
Great Looking bike.

Great job Puzzled.

I agree with everyone on the social media stuff. I don't even have it lol.
This site was probably the original where it all started and the reason I even built my first bike. I've been posting recently(because I just finished my 6 year build lol) but I'm going to try to make it a point to look more often and post more. There was sooo much knowledge on this site at one time and even though they don't hold their values as much, the Chopped Bagger style is still vary alive and kicking.

Thank you all. A few years in already on this build and it has been trouble free. I thought of building another bike however I'd build a duplicate of this bike. the only thing I'm going to change is the radio. I'm going to change over to the 2019 GTS radio. I considered an aftermarket unit for a brief minute. I just don't want to deal with the water damage.

With the help of Joshua A I installed a Boom GTS radio out of 2020 into my 2018 CVO. The radio I purchased has a part number that ends in an A. That is what the new Boom kit is showing as a retro fit radio. Out of the 2020 the radio would not work in my 2018. The radio needed to be updated to the latest 2020 Harley Davidson update. I couldn't do this from my 2018. My buddy allowed me to plug the radio into his 2019 and update it (I updated his also while I was there). After the update the radio came to life when installed in my 2018. Going from the GT to the GTS is a big difference. The GTS is so much faster. Now if only they would add Android Auto!

After some guidance and reading I discovered I had to plug the radio I purchased into a 19/20 model year bike to update it. I used my Buddy Mikes 2019 CVO. It is interesting that the new bikes don't come with a printed owners manual. I found the download version however I would like the printed version to keep in the bike. 20200207_120650.jpg
