1st time I'm using this painter. In fact my friend who is a Harley mechanic recommended & brought my stuff to him. I haven't even met him.

The items I brought him to paint Vivid Black only (I supplied the paint) are:
Camtech tank & side panels
Ness DNO bags & fender
Body work besides prepping the pieces for body work, they're also going to close up the single exhaust outlet.

Is $1,800- $2,000 a fair price?

I forgot to add that he's also going to sand my filler panel lights to blend into the fender & notch my dash to avoid the ignition hitting it when I install the raked trees.

I've been shopping paint work recently as well. Seems like a rule of thumb is about $200 per part for basic paint and prep. That number can go significantly higher if major bodywork/modifications/air brushing are in the picture.

Just my experience.
