Hello everyone from Baghdad. I've been monitoring Chopped Baggers as a guest for about 2 weeks now and dig what I have been seeing. I'm from Northwest Ohio and have a bone stock 11 RG Custom that I'm itching to start on. I've seen a lot of great bikes on here and am going to be using this place to help me in my customization process. I’m prior military and now work overseas doing security for government contracts. Consequently, I don’t make it home very often, but when I do I love to ride. My poor bike is sitting at home with only 600 miles, that I was able to put on it the week that I bought it. I look forward to meeting you all and keep up the great work on these beautiful machines.

Glad to have you and THANK YOU for your service!

You might consider having one of our Vendors pick the bike up, build it to your liking, and it would be ready for you when your home!

Thanks guys. I am interested in using the site's vendors, but I am really looking forward to putting in the legwork myself when I get the time. I have a lot of learning to do and I'm very anxious to do so.

Nothing wrong with that! I swear I like having a project just as much as the finished product!

Thanks, I appreciate all of the support from the home front. You guys have some awesome looking rides. Sonic69, I don't know a Scott Norman, but DynCorps also has a ton of different contracts in several countries to include; Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, Mexico, Columbia, and others.

Just wanted to check back in with you fellas. I got my Sinister header installed (with that last little chrome heat shield that isn't pictured) and she sounds killer! Sorry about the grainy pic. Up next is a SE Heavy Breather and a tuner. Anyone have any input on which tuner to go with? I was thinking the SE tuner b/c I don't foresee anymore engine mods coming in the future besides possibly cams. I haven't had as much time to work on my bike as I'd like, as I just bought my first property and now I have 20 acres to care for, and a shop to put up also. This summer will be a busy one for me. Keep up the killer work on these awesome rides. I have been keeping my eye on them and I am hooked!

Also, I'm going to pose a stupid question from a fresh newb. Do I run the risk of engine damage by riding the bike with the new exhaust and no tune (from being too lean possibly)?

Absolutely....I had a customer/friend of mine that bought a brand new 12 SG and dealer installed Xpipe, mufflers and air cleaner and no tuner....30 min ride whoosh..bye bye rings and cyliders...smokes like the skeeter man...luckily one of my buddies is the service manager at another local dealership and is taking care of it under warranty! So yeah buddy I dont recommend doing that at all!

And most of all thank you for your service!

Killer looking pipe!

For the tuner, I recommend getting one with an Auto-Tune feature that constantly corrects for AFR. The Zippers thundermax is what I bought "from Drago's."

As for the lean condition, I am with you. I would want some sort of tuned before riding as they come lean from the factory and the pipe only makes that worse.
