Looks awesome! How long did it take you? Any advice on what to look out for? What would you have done different or better if you could do it again?

It took us about a day total..We took our time, always checking level and taking measurements, the kit really is easy if you dont mind a little more fab work, and it has some adjustment Gotta make sure that you mock it up with the tank on, and trees before you weld otherwise you will not clear the ignition switch. Luckly i called them before we made any welds there so called directions does not mention that. All in all very happy.

I noticed , in the picture where you started tacking it, there is about a 5/8" gap at the top which looks to open up to about an 1" & an eigth (tough to tell from pic). Is that how much you needed to clear the tank?

yes, thats what we needed to clear the tank, and then it went to about 1 1/4- 1 1/2. The supplied bottom gusset plate fit perfect. The new 1" extensions fit great.Only thing that was wrong is that the supplied lower steam bearing in the hhi tree kit was smashed somehow in packaging or shipment. Luckly local auto supply had one.

Looks killer! Nice job. How long did you wait for Yaffe's stuff? Did you have to order the trees seperate of from Yaffe too?
