My 07 SG build

Well for now it's just a bolt on bike but I'm adding my own touch. 80% of the black out has been done by me and a spray can of epoxy black. I took my time sanding, etching primer and then epoxy black. I took the engine guard and lowers to the powder coater since those parts were a little big for me to get a good coat of paint on them. I got them back this morning and I really can't tell the difference between what I did and what is powder coated.

For now I have a stock 2011 18in front wheel, homemade air ride, PC-V, Reinhart true dual.

Upcoming project's are Hydrographic dip the inner fairing and dash silver carbon fiber. 10in LA Chopper Prime Ape's and wrap the exhaust black. Maybe a 21in RC wheel.

Sorry for the shitty pictures but it's raining out. I'll take more tomorrow.

Next year is a rear fender and extended bags.

I look forward to seeing the dipped fairing. I read something about that and it looked pretty neat.

That's insane. I think that's how helps foundry does their cf inner fairings. I like the idea but the carbon can't look that good.

id like to know how the paint is holding up on that frontend. its VERY HARD to get paint to stick to stainless (unless u powdercoat) and u must use a special paint for the aluminum, soooo im anxious to see if it flakes off or not cause if not im definately doing it lol

My front fender is alum. Painter treated it like normal steel parts. No chipping.

I won't paint anything without self etching primer anymore......and I only spray with aerosol;) it makes rattle can jobs look 1000 times better. I sprayed a set of lower legs with self etching primer, black, and clear out of a can and it looked great. Still looked really good at the end of a 7k year when I swapped them out. I'd do it again.

Thats cool as hell!. Ask him what he can do the whole bike for. Bags lids fairing etc. My grey bike got smoked in the ass end Wed afternoon. So far the tally is up to $2700 without paint or labor. I might have a set of used bags for ya!

I'll ask him tomorrow and save the bags for me. I'll see ya tomorrow night.
