Whats the most horsepower you guys have seen on a factory 96ci? So far I have reinhart 2-1 exhaust and a stage one screaming eagle intake. I want to give it some more power and would really like to be quicker than my friends goldwing. I was thinking of a cam and a programmer but I have the 08 so the nicer power commander isnt available for my bike is the one that works for my bike still nice? I was also looking at the 107 build for about $1700. But I also know the parts im thinking about can be put on the 107. I cant decide if i want to have a faster bike or a bigger front wheel! decisions decisions

Twin cam really isn't my thing but I think bang for your buck might be the fuel MOTO 107 with heads. Check with frank at Dragos, he makes some powerful stuff.

Definitely check with Frank at Dragos, he'll give you more info and options than you'll know what to do with. But you will definitely have to do cams and heads if nothing else. A Procharger would be a nice add on.

Staying with 96" and wanting to keep up with a Goldwing you are going to have to put a Procharger on it. Those wings can flat get down the road.

I like how you recommend cams and heads, and then nonchalantly throw in a $5k mod at the end.

Man these are hard choices. Either do work to put a 23 on or make it faster. I'v always made my rides fast then look good.

Yeah I pretty much got talked into the motor last night by my friend that does a lot o engine work. He said he'll help me do it. Now I just have to come up with a little more cash and should be good to go. I'll need to send you my heads correct? Only thing that scares me is shipping to alaska haha. But the look of the goldwingers faces..... Priceless

What he said ^ I wanna see this
I dont have a video of that run. That was a copy and paste of my time slip. Never could duplicate that time. The rest of the night they were low 11s. That pass EVERYTHING went perfect! I cut a .500 light. That doesnt happen very often. I've never done it before or since. Running a drag slick and all the stars lining up perfectly it will run a 10.45et but I probably will never do it again.

I would think a Procharger from Frank will get you at about 125/125 without touching anything else....provided you got a good tune and had the right exhaust.

I have a question at 880 pounds with out your weight even at 150 hp .25mile track it would tack 150 hp to get 10.45seconds. Does your 95 inch motor make 150 plus hp with out Nox or Blower???
Even at low 11.ss it would take 880lbs 120 hp to get 11.25 seconds now I dont know the over all weight but if I had to guess it would be 800 for bike and Ill say 180 for person= 980.00lbs
so at 980lbs High 11.80/low 12s 120 hp I would say yes all day to that..

My questions is How much power does that 95 inch motor makes...
Sorry for all the questions just asking to see how it is possible to do that at 10.45sec.... on 95 inch with out a power adder

My math shows 880 for bike+225 rider=1105 total weight at 195 hp = 10.30sec .25 mile track..... Maybe I am wrong...
Thanks.,
FD

I guess the clock was wrong if the math doesnt support my claims. That same run I beat A cbr 600, what do they do in the 1/4?
