Installed rear fender & need to mount a sissy bar.

I just installed a Ness Down n Out fender. Anyone know of a company that makes a kit to keep or even replace the HD docking kit? I called FBI about their relocation kit, but they won't say whether or not it'll fit with any other fenders but theirs. They will only say it'll work with "our fenders".
I still ride my wife (when she's in the mood, of course!) & I need a sissy bar. If it was just her then it wouldn't be a big deal but my kids ride with me too.

Are you using TapaTalk? If so then yes. If not you can send them to a photobucket account via the photobucket ap.

I haven't tried of using a phones web browser but that may be possible too.

Just search your ap store. It's $2.99 and makes viewing forums much easier on your phone.

Cool thanks. From the installation pictures on their website it looks like they use spots on the frame that are used to mount my fender. I'll give them a call tomorrow (oops later today) & ask them.

I may call Ness to just to see if they know of or use anyone in particular. I'm sure they would've thought that people would want to at least mount a sissy bar or rack over that fender. We'll see. I'll let you guys know what I find.

I have the bad dad fender. And i too have to find docking hardware to fit the new fender. I dont like bad dad's bolt on setup. I'm gonna give FBI setup's a try and see if it will fit, the bad dad fender.

Might try the FBI kit.
I called them & they have the same reply. If it comes down to it I may order one then "make it fit". Patience...still have a few weeks before the season kicks in. Actually wont need it 'til June for Americade.

If you don't mind, keep us posted on what you find.

Is that the baddad all in one fender? That is a complete replacement? Thats why I was going to go with that fender, I called and they said with the fender covers; docking hardware wouldn't work but with the replacement fender it would. I didn't realize that I would have to buy more crap to make it work.

I think you're reffering to me...The fender in the pics is of my Ness fender. It's a replacement fender not an overlay. The stock docking kit will not work with this fender. I'm trying to find something already made. If I can't then i'll make one up.
BTW, you ALWAYS have to buy more crap to make it work! lol

I was wondering what solution you came up with to make a backrest bracket with the fender you installed last year. I have a Yaffe stretched rear fender that was then modified to fill the gap between the fender and saddlebags and covered the upper shock mounts even. It's such a good looking and clean look but leaves me no options to mount a backrest or luggage rack. Can you send me some pics of what you did or let me know what option you went with? Thanks.
