I'm BORED!!

Man this sucks, The plant shut down for 2 weeks and on day 3 I'm already going CRAZY. The bike is apart and I'm at the mercy of the powder coater. Everything up until now that I have blacked out I have painted with epoxy black. It's to wet outside to paint so I just sent the last 3 piece's out yesterday.

It's so bad I took my old stock levers from my Dyna and drilled hole's in them and also cut the round ball off the ends. I need something to do LOL.

We always have a 2 week shut down in July. Well almost 8yrs ago I was bored and started a local Mustang Forum. It's grown to almost 2,000 members, Sponsor local car show, Toy's for Tot's run's. It's like this site. No advertising BS and not a money making idea. Just something for everyone to enjoy.

We had to close registration since we got hit with so many spammers. We are getting ready to change servers and Forum site. I don't do much over there anymore since I got out of racing. I just sit back and lurk and make change's. I have Admin's and a couple of other people that are really running it.

The server we have won't allow to many changes. Plus nobody wants to change over there, Their afraid of loosing everything LOL. That's why I just sit back and watch. I have moved away from Mustangs and Racing. I just get on there to talk to friends.

I started out running NMCA/NMRA Open Comp, Then went to Outlaw 8.5 (small tire class). I helped a friend of mine on his Outlaw 10.5 Dodge Avenger and now I help him with his son's x275 Dodge Dart. I quit racing about 5yrs ago when my wife passed away. I got 3 boys that needed me home instead of out racing all the time.

Hmm, kind of funny working at the vette plant and starting a mustang forum, lol. Well I like both, I've had 3 mustangs, never had a vette, hard enough to have a mustang with kids, hard to justify 2 vehicles that could only hold 2 people, kept the bike.

Thanks vrog, Oh hell yea DMC builds some crazy bad ass cars. I know what you mean. I'd love to race again but spending $100,000 on a car or filling the bike up for $25. HUM I'll take the bike for the win. I still go and hang out at races.
