I have a RG I didn't want to pay double so I bought a car kit off of e-bay for $70, works great, right now I'm playing with projectors to see if they will work better, having a SG you have the option of LED's if you want, just a little pricey.

I can tell you running that HID stuff for high beams is horrible, it takes to long for the bulb to warm up . When you flip to high beam you can barely see anything then the light starts to get brighter. When bright there nice but that period between low and high is horrible.

What kind of HID do you have? I have bixenons, there is only one bulb, it uses a solenoid from high to low beam so the process is instantaneous from low to high beam. Once the lights are on, they're on.
