Im about to start into doing the 9 degree rake and tree for 26 on my 06 eg this weekend. Can you run stock tubes and lowes. I have been told so many different things not sure now. I didn't get the +2 tubes but if I need them let me know. Still learn but read a lot on here and another forum always learning and thanks for the help.

I will be running stock length on my SG when it is done. I have been told by several reliable sources that is the way to go. I do think it changes for a road glide, as most are having to run +2 in the tubes.

I am going to mock mine up with stock length tubes with travel limiters. I would bet that HHI says +2 to keep all of the front travel. The problem then is the front sits higher than the rear.

This is just a guess as I am not the one with all the answers.

I was thinking the same. I was told if you went with the +2 you have to lower the front to get stock ride height.

I say start with your stock tubes, you'll know if you need to do something different after mocking it up.

Along the same topic, but can someone explain and or show how to put the limiters in? What are they made of and all that good stuff?

Quick, looks like you spent hours on that. Just playing. Do you know what size you used, and what did you make them out of?
