Help with cable routing

Can someone help me with pictures or just advice on how to run my throttle, idle and brake cable on my 2002 Road King. I Just put on the 16" apes and no matter how I run my cables they bind. Maybe they are too long or too short. I was advised to get 8+ cables. With the nacelle off they don't bind. Once it's on it does. Any help is appreciated.

Throttle/idle/brake backside of bars behind the trees, clutch off the front side by the nacelle

Thanks. That's what I did and got the best result. Hopefull the rumble of the motor will help it return back.

I'm wondering how people run cable clamps. Anytime I try to pull cables close to the bars the bind even worse.

So backside then over top of trees then looped back in middle of trees to j clamp then to the back?

Bill

I used to own some shit!
My King would stick too... My cables were 4"-5" too long.

Running it didn't happen though from the engine vibration.

Thanks Illegal regal. I was going to try that but cables were way too long. Ended up screwing with it today and moving things around in the nacelle running the cables many different ways and finally everything started working correct. Now time to get some wild1 cable guides to make it look real nice. I'll get a picture up in a little bit of what I did.
