Header Wrap

Has anyone done header wrap on their bagger? I'm thinking about wrapping the header pipes with a black wrap. Just don't know how it will look or if I should wrap over the heat shield or take the shield off and wrap the pipe.

I have done it and gona do mine again this weekend, do it withsheilds off and use 2" ,overlap 1 " to look right ,then wet it and run the bike to bake it (smells like shit). then if you dont like it put the sheilds over it and you still cut down heat.

It looks Badass, but you need to put the effort in to make it look uniform and make sure it holds up. You cant just throw it on, it will come off and look like garbage.
