HD paint

I know HD does not release paint codes. Least from my very limited exp they don't. But I really like the Tequila Sunrise orange my bike is and when I start buying the extended bags, fairing, fender, etc etc I want to get the same orange with the old 70's style gold metal flake the paint has in it.

Can you buy paint from HD? Sorry for the newbie questions I just don't know.

You can get the paint code? And have it mixed at your favorite paint dealer.

Take a side cover to a good paint dealer, they can scan and match it. It is ppg waterborn paint.

They will not be able to scan it because it is a3 stage paint but usually you can call a harley dealer and all the code. Then have it mixed in ppg they usually can't mix it with any other brands of paint for my experience at least.and be ready to pay for it harley paint is expensive.
