I am going to be installing a set of HD audio lids.
Currently i am running two Rockford fosgate power series 6-1/2's in the fairing. Along with Rockford fosgate 300x2 mini amp.
The audio lids come with 2 ohm speakers, and the 6-1/2's are 4 ohms.
What can i do to run the audio lids on my current system?

I will eventually changes to a four channel, but for now I'll be running the two channel.
Right Now, the 6-1/2's (4 ohm) are on one channel.
Can i run the audio lid speakers (2 ohm) on the other channel, or should i just run them straight off the receiver for now till i change to a four channel amp?

If you take your 4 ohm speakers and run them in parallel then you reduce your resistence on those to 2 ohms. Make sure your amp can handle.

Wiring in parallel is simple. #1 speaker + goes to #2 speaker + and . Speaker1 - goes to speaker 2 -. Then you take the positive and negative terminals on speaker one and hook them to your amp.

You could put one of each speaker on each channel. Left and Right basically.
