Hand brake line question

I have installed 10" MB on my bike and also purchased Yaffes super size kit which come with a different brake line for the front hand brake. The problem is they send a small plastic line with different fittings and after seeing this set up in my JP Cyles book, the listing says "for show bikes only, not DOT approved and not for highway use". So with all that being said what is everyone using for line extensions? This is one area that I don't want to compromise, if your know what I'm saying.

Can you post a pick of the line/fittings they sent you?

The dot and show bike comments are designed for liability issues. To protect them in a lawsuit. There is nothing wrong with using those extensions.

Another reason why is when building show bikes I like to hide the brake line in the handle bars. The smaller diameter lets me do that for a super clean look.

I have re routed my stock brake line and it works fine. I would not work with any taller bars though. I will send some pictures of the plastic line kit if you still need them.

Thanks
