So I walked outside of my Girlfriends front door the other day to hop on the bike to go for a nice ride, only to find out some fucker got me for my Hard Bags, My Side Covers and my Removable Sissy bar, So now I gotta buy new bags and side covers outta pocket until Insurance comes through. I hate this shit. Only good news is this gives me an excuse to paint the bike. I' thinking Flat Black with some nice Blue striping and then a few coats of clear to keep people guessing lol.

On a side note, anyone have some stock Harley Hard bag take offs they would be willing to let go for pretty cheap, pain and scratches unimportant just not cracked and hopefully with all hardware (minus locks of course) I really cant afford much right now on my Broken Back Budget but I hate to have my bike parked when Its so nice out. PM me if anyone has something they can hook me up with.

Honestly? As cheap as I can get em, I'm really hoping someone has a set taking up pace in the corner and they just wanna get rid of em, but I wont hold my breath lol. Buddy of mine is gonna paint the bike for me, so once I find a set of bags and side covers I'm gonna start pulling the rest of the tins off so her can start the paint, but I'm out of pocket on the bags and side covers cause I wanna get my bike back on the road pretty soon.

Put locks made by Brutus or make your own for the bags.they take all of about 5 seconds to steal.where your attachment point is for the bags slip an automotive body clip 3/8x16 in place then attach it with a star or six point fastener.they will leave you alone.

I hate them also, but there becoming quite diligent.

Wow, that sucks. Yeah I made my own lock setup. Let me know if you need a set and I'll get them to you what I pay plus shipping for the next set. Working on an even better setup thats even more safer, cuz I can take off bags with the brukus kit on there.

On my bags I went down to Ace and got some clip on nuts and some bolts and bolted mine down. The factory clips can easily be cut with some cutting/dyke pliers and then walk off with the bag.

Cost for me was about 5 bucks.

You can pop the bags with a screwdriver..so easy. I read an article about stolen bags then went to the garage and tried it was shocked how easy they come off.

Let me know about ur bags I have a stock set that I might be able to send

Do you have the part numbers or pics? I'm having my Sinister bags painted this week and will be on next week.
