Anyway, it is true. The bike is back to the way I had it last year...

Where do I begin? I got word that...it's too painful to type...ok here goes...

I got word that my wheel is 4 WEEKS OUT!!!!! Are you kidding?! What are they cutting it out of one freaking piece of aluminum?! (oops my bad) I know this is what happens when you go up another level, but I just can't stand seeing my bike apart & I can't ride it. I don't have another bike (I regret getting rid of my V-rod). I NEED to ride.
Normally, having my bike apart during winter isn't much of an issue. It has never bothered me enough to make me spend 4hrs today putting everything that I've taken off, back on. But we haven't had a "normal" winter here! We've been flirting with the high 50's lately, but today & tomorrow...get this...70 DEGREES!!! Let me tell you who's NOT going to be home listening to all the bikes outside...ME!

So, hopefully while my wheel is being cut, I'm going to try & add another 3,000 miles to the clock (it is still winter here lol)

Fuck it...I'm riding! See you on the road!

I hear you. I hate having my bike apart when it's warm or getting warm. Best of luck with the wheel. I'm gonna be riding instead of waiting.

You tried getting a wheel from someone else? There is a thread on here that Native Customs is stocking some big wheels. Not sure what you were planning though.

I ordered an SMT wheel from QuikHD (Psychotic Air). I have a 21" now & I love the quality it still looks brand new.

I used to own some shit!
Unfortunately with this economy it is pretty much the norm. None of the manufacturers have the $1000000 in inventory sitting on the shelves like they did in 2007, just a sad reality of a poor economy.

Sorry Paul, wish I could speed up the process for ya! If you were closer, I would be more than happy to help ya with the later assembly!

If it makes ya feel any better, i have been waiting for my HogPro 26" Shelby for 4 weeks now, and it seems like its gonna be in tomorrow.......for like 2-3 days now :(

Hang in there bro! I know how you're feeling. We really don't have down time here also and I don't have the luxury of another bike. It is a stress reliever for me too, I took a quick ride today, from not riding in a month cause I busted my tail bone from slipping down the stairs. I don't think I could ride yet cause it was painful to.

I seriously can't see why it would take so long when these wheels are cut out with a CNC machine that works FAST.

Crazy part about my situation is that I have two Dyna's and it was 65* here! Been too busy working to ride! Winter was pretty slow so I am jumping all over this work.

I here ya. When I was prepping my old bags and fender etc I was down for a few. Always here bikes going by and when Im out driving Id see them . Really depressing. Then I get my bike up and ride for ohh Id say 3 weeks, then I get in a wreck. Just my luck. Down again.

Btw, I rode tonight & noticed that I can see my gauges much much better than before since I did my Gauge Mod. Worth every penny.

I know how you feel, my bike has been down since Jan 9th, and I'm in FL, this is the best time of year to ride. Hopefully I'll be up by Friday so I can ride to Daytona.
