It’s a Hossstyle 8 LS1, 400hp Dirt Drag Bike capable of hitting 200ks plus over 200 metres!
It’s the 25th Hossstyle customised drag bike built in the world - but THE FIRST ONE IN NEW ZEALAND and built right here in Lochiel, Southland by master bike builder Brian Cartwright.
Dirt Drags are one of the fastest growing extreme motorsports and will be demonstrating for the first time this year at the Burt Munro Challenge which will definitely be something to watch out for!
Until then this ground-shaking beast will be on display and scaring the horses

My brother in law is an older guy and grew up around Burt, he said that all his pistons where hand cast in holes in the ground, his conrods as well, all made from war surpluce air craft propellers

Im also interested in salt racing, theres a salt lake, Lake Gairdner in South Australia thats being developed in a LSR track http://www.dlra.org.au/ i am currently trying to form a race team for a V8 salt bike 1500 horsepower twin turbo based streamliner, in the planning stages at the moment im going to meet Brain soon and ask him to make the frame, going to try crowd funding it lol via the net, my plan is to offer to allow donaters to ride it for 150 mile an hour licences on the salt
