Based on these pictures, would I be wrong thinking that when I install the 9 degree triple trees, my lower ignition cowl will hit the dash?

Maybe you can sand the mounting curve of the dash evenly and minimum, making it a lower profile dash but becareful of the height of your gas inlet of your tank..

Not to point out the obvious but... Not really the way it was designed to work.

You might have to relocate the ignition switch and get a low profile switch cap. "Like the one Sinister makes."

Ok so I need some input here. I started mocking up the body kit yesterday & thought it all fit great until I got to the bottoms of the side panels. They're off almost an inch either side. I know it's a body kit & some body work will be necessary & you can't see both sides of the bike at the same time, but should it be off this much?

If anyone has had this issue please let me know if it's normal or what.
I sent an email with these pics to Cameron at Camtech. I'll see what he has to say.

Doesn't look normal..they usually leave a little meat on so you can custom fit it to match your bags. I was thinking of ordering these but will wait til your out come is resolved

Make sure the bag is sitting down on the saddle bag support all the way front and back. Not sure if this is your entire problem but I could see it lending to the problem some. I had to rework the rubber isolators a little on mine so the bags would sit all the way down like they are supposed to.

What bags are they?

That's what I had initially thought, so I checked them both. Look at the 4th & 5th pictures. Look at the difference between the two panels, they are not the same. I checked the stock panels side by side thinking that they may also be different but they're identical.

Mine was the same way. The bottoms are intentionally left long so that you can trim as needed. Mine also were different shape from side to side. I dont think that it will ever be noticed since you cant see both sides of the bike at the same time.

That's what I thought too. I was hoping I wasn't the only one.

I can easily get the bottoms & sides to look identical but I can't get the tops (pics with tape measure) to be the same height. I'm ok with it because you can't see both sides at the same time.
What gets me though is how the mounting plugs are different yet both side panels sit flush with the frame...

Paul, I see your issues, the bottoms are left long to trim to fit. Some want to cove exhaust others not. As for the tops be certain the bags are in identical positions as you know they all can move around. You don't notice it is off when stock because of the gaps. Once you try to blend it all together it becomes a chore to adjust and align it all. If you are still having issues with it. I will be happy to send you another side cover. All of our parts are made by hand so sometimes we get a part out of tolerance but certainly will make it right for you. Call me at the shop tomorrow to update me. 843-552-0336 ext 3 thanx for your business Paul
