is the bleeding process the same as any other system? is abs different? pump, pump, pump, hold, release air, repeat?

once i take the old line off the block do i need to bleed the back??

As long as youre only replacing the line BEFORE the block you can just let gravity do the work from the master fown to the block. If you try to bleed any further back, youll need to hook it up to the machine at the stealer.

I bought my Russel line and fittings on ebay.

What do you mean by "before the block"?

I think all i need is the line from the block to the front caliper correct? Is that what you meant?

Frok the master on the handlebars to the block. If your replacing from the block to the front your going to have to take it to the stealer to have it hooked up and bled

They bleed same as anything else. I replaced both lines last year and never had an issue. I attached the cable at the master cyliner and let fluid gravity to the block before i attached it at the block, replaced the lower cable with the same method and then bleed as normal.
