26'r Tire Air Pressure...

yardsale

Up in da one fiddy...
Your tire only leaks 25lbs a hour. Do want I do. I always have a roll of quarters on me and a map of local gas stations with air pumps.

On a somewhat, kind-of, sort-of serious note... what is the right pressure relative to the distance of your tire to the fender at rest? I've heard many stories about burning front fender paint because the tire expanded at 90 mph and rubbed. I always ride the speed limit but I never know what my other personality is going to do out on the road...

One of THE 150!
The fender/tire on my wide glide has about 1/4-3/8" gap and has not rubbed at 120+mph Of course I only hit that speed in the 1/4 mile so its not like I am up there that long.

Balls
im around/under 1/4" gap and no probs, and have it 1xx a few times checking stuffz out. i did have a nice gouge around the inside where it carried a rock thru the fender though.
