23" with Progressive Monotube stock height?

In my debate over a 23 or 26, I'd like to know whether I could run my Progressive Monotubes (stock height) with a 23 (7/7)? Or would I have to lower the front end as with a 26? I'm leaning towards the 23 anyway, so this may help tilt me over the top. I'm looking to save funds wherever I can. Any if I don't have to change those cartridges, BONUS!! Thanks.

No bites? Let me reword maybe. To run a 23, is it recommended to lower the front? I know with the 26 I need to. Thanks.

I believe the front will have to be lowered, but there are a lot of variables.

Most guys don't find out for sure until they are mocking in up.

i didnt lower my front with the 26" but did have to run a little bit of travel limiters.

i would mock it up with no springs - and let it down to see how much you can lower it before you dent things

After a quick talk with Yaffe yesterday, he said its not necessary to lower w the 23. It's just a personal preference if done. I guess I'll have to see how it looks.

If you need to lower when installing a 21" wouldn't you need to lower with each rise in height afterwards?

Incorrect, you have to account for the stretch and/or rake that is added.
