I am pretty sure that is an HHI. Typical production weld, not the prettiest but it's more than strong enough. There is so much weld area on these things "What HHI welds and the user welds" that you could probably only weld half of it and never have an issue.Is that a HHI neck? The welds look like they have some room for improvement (on the neck itself)
Yep, lots of smoke and mirrors in the motorcycle industry!I know of a place locally that started their own kit and it is clean. HHI actually gets their kits from a shop in Cincinnati, Ohio. He builds them and they sell them under their name.
i would agree. especially the diy guys . theres less chance for error. they fit tight and dont take much time at all to install.We've done both. I think the HHI " actually JYC kit" is better from the stand point it's alot faster and less labor intense. If you take your time and finish it off right. It will look just as nice done.
