21in fender Problem

my friend just has a 2012 street glide and hes got like 3500 mile and the 21 tire and it rubbed thru. I had a 21 on my 07 bike and it never rubbed. any ides? its an avon 120 -21.
your input is appreciated.

i just put my 21 on and itwasnt rubbing the fender not sure if i will have probs down the road i got a 2010 rg

Had an issue with mine. I hiked up the rear of the fender & solved it.

run a metzeler instead of avon next time and you will not have that issue. Opening holes will take care of that. The metzelers don't swell with heat like the avons....

Drill the rear hole out with a 3/8 bit and tip the fender forward.
