2002 Road King Classic transformation

Well I decided to show my re-style of my 2002 flhrci. For now not going as most on here, but to me nothing is ever done and will probably rake it with a 23" later and do stretched bags and the like when I run into more money. I had my Fatboy destroyed by a flying wheel and tire while riding down the freeway so I decided to get this Road King and start over.

I used to own some shit!
Looking good Bro! Keep us updated through the whole process.

Don't be like some other secret keepers "cough, cough Slothy & Chad" and hold it all in until the end!

Well got my front and rear fenders on along with my wheel and brake calipers. After putting the rear together the license plate blocks the paint and I think we should have went higher with the graphics so going to get a different plate mount like this one: http://firemanjoes.com/license_plate_brackets_and_frames.html and something to eliminate the grab bar. So taking off the rear fender tomorrow again to re-paint, but here are some pictures I took.

Yes the license plate bar.

Well we started working on a bandana design before I saw it done on Bloody Mary, but ours is different. It will look like about 4 or 5 bandanas draped over the body. 1 on the front fender, 1 over parts of the rear fender, fender fillers and bags, 1 over the tank to left side cover, 1 over one side of my 16" wild 1 apes and 1 over the Woody's fairing, for when I decide I want a fairing. Colors are a dark brown metallic over white basecoat with a gold candy over the bandana.

Finally got my bars done. Should get rear fender shot again and tank done this week. Not the greatest lighting, because they do pop, but here are some pics:

Why cant you cut it off just prior to the struts.then put your strut covers on to hide.so the only thing you see are the strut covers
