Switch I would say that it is a HarleyHyd. Clutch they come on the Screamin Eagle models.
The outer chrome cover is the only piece that is removed.
Need to back off the cable completely first then the nut behind the derby cover to release all pressure.
Then removed outer tranny cover. then work in reverse once perch and everything else is then installed.
If I left something out I'm sure someone will chime in.

Thanks guys. Like Badgerbob said the hydro clutch is stock harley chrome. The other covers are from kuryakyn and they fit very nice. Switchhousing I think we have the same bike and I'm not a fan of the gold either. Can't wait to paint over it

thanks badgerbob,
but that is the problem with my bad englisch, sorry.
I have the same bike like this, and also this hy.clutch, and i searched for the transmission chrome cover how does fit.
The most covers only worked with the normal cable clutch.

Switch I think these are the covers your talking about. The one on the left of the hydro cover is the oil spout cover kuryakyn #8264. The one on the right is called rear cylinder base cover part #8274. And that's just blue tape over them I didn't paint them.image.jpg LOL

Very nice, I really want a 26" or 30" wheel bike. I know I am not going to do it on my RG,I am going to do the 23" on the RG. I hope when I get ready for the 26" or 30" I can find a salvage title King to do it on! Can't wait to see ur finished product.

Thanks. The paint is just black base with a flattening agent in the clear coat. Prob going two tone next but still haven't deciding on the colors. With the bags I went a tapered the stretch to make them look a little bit bigger so thy would look better with the bigger wheel

Thanks guys. I can't wait to start working on it again too. But it's been on hold for the last couple of weeks due to the fact that my wife could go into labor anytime now. And I not crazy enough to test a 9 month pregnant women's patients. LOL
