Looking for ideas and or detailed posts on layframe swingarm lockout

Was thinking about the same solenoid pin idea too. I have never seen anyone accomplish it. The nicest manual design I have seen done was posted on this forum. Search lay frame lockout or swing arm lockout.

The problem is the forum takes money to run, and why all forums have some sort of fees. $10 membership fees aren't going to cover it. People never really left because of forum fees or vendor fees. They left because they either moved on to different interests, or the other two reasons already...

    Mad wheels out of business?

What sucks is ordering a wheel with a 8 week lead time, and having to file a CC claim. I lost that customer's business. I called them in week 7 when I heard they weren't shipping wheels to customers, and receiving poor feedback on social media. They assured me that was not true, but then did the...

    Single or dual compressors?

I am running a swing arm tank as stated, which has more volume than the El Grande tank by Dirty Air. I think that's the biggest tank out there. I have no issues, and think that the compressor is plenty strong enough for that duty cycle. I definitely see the advantages of a spare compressor...

    Single or dual compressors?

I am running a 100C on my fat tire bike with front and rear air and swing arm air tank. It runs a little longer than my 380C on my 30 build with an Elgrande tank, but it never slows me down on my everyday rider. Once you put a big enough tank on a bike, you really don't need a 380C. The only...

    Rear end number 2

Mine only broke clean off after trying to remove pin, but I know it was cracked on the bottom before I tried to remove the pin. (See picture in link below) The rubber mounts can be worn as Torch stated, and also check the bracket that the rubber mount goes into on the RH side. Those bolts might...

He is spoiled now. Great riding bike. Spends very little money or time on upgrades. Ride it, hose it down once in awhile, and spends his time and money from building bikes into other things. That's my guess, as it is what I miss about sport bikes!

    Toys R Us Chapter 11

I didn't say Toys R Us filed because of online sales, but stated it got me thinking about the whole online sales and American made topics. I also stated that I also have shopped online, so guilty as charged. The statement that people are buying an item for their recreational vehicle...

    Toys R Us Chapter 11

After the announcement of Toys R Us filing chapter 11 yesterday, it got me thinking again where are we going as a country with online retail sales. I like to save money like anyone else, so I too have price shopped online. But I think we are going to eventually kill our country with online...

Looking for new 23" front tire

I can get you a Metzeler ME 888 130/60-23 for $200 shipped to your door. I just searched it and you can get one from JP Cycles for $176, or $171 on Amazon. I can't beat those prices.

    air tank size

For front and rear air instant air up, you need 2.5" x 18" minimum better to have 3"x 20". I would think about converting your swing arm to a tank. Just a few holes to weld up and add one 1/4" bung for inlet from compressor, another one for outlet to solenoid valve, and an optional one at the...

Yes, my intension was only for the health of the site. You gave me both another category for the site and some build ideas. Let's start mounting AR's on bikes!! We need to move the remote trigger away from the turn signals and audio function on the handlebar controls. But other than that, I...
